In the midst of elevated security at churches, the Christian community in the twin urban communities excitedly partook in Christmas festivities by offering special supplications to God Thursday night checking a standout amongst the most celebrated days over the world.
Wearing new outfits, the young and old just as delighted in the night recollecting the message of adoration and peace of Jesus Christ (AS).
On Thursday night special services were held at Full Gospel Assembly Church, G-8/1, Saint Thomas Church, G-7, and Khatoon-e-Fatima Church in F-8, where Christian clerics petitioned God for peace, concordance and flourishing of Pakistan.
Streets, houses and shops in a few casual settlements and Christian provinces have been decorated with lights and Christmas trees, while holy places, teacher schools and foundations in Islamabad are likewise lit up with bright lights.

"This is an uncommon day for every one of us. We petition God for peace and welfare of mankind," said Pastor In-Charge Rizwan Khurshid of Full Gospel Assembly Church at G-8/1.
It's an event to return to the message of Christ, the unceasing message of affection peace resilience and empathy for mankind, remarked Shahzad Anjum secretary data, FGA Church.
He said it was an ideal opportunity to rededicate ourselves to these respectable beliefs and work independently and also all things considered for the improvement and welfare of mankind and to contribute our offer in improving the world a spot to live.
"Jesus Christ demonstrated the general population the righteous way. His message requests that we all swing to God and look for celestial kindness," Pastor Ubaid Sadiq in his message.
“When we talk about harmony, equality and peace, then, the message of God is that you must love each other like you love yourselves,” Elder Samuel Masih commented.
The Christian Youth Uplift Forum database proposes that around 57,000 group individuals are living in Islamabad.
The Christmas celebrations are in full swing in settlements including 100 Quarters in F-6/2, France Colony in F-7/4, Faisal Colony, 66 Quarters and Musharraf Colony in G-7, Hansa Colony, Charles Colony, J Salik Colony and Miskeen Colony in G-8, Christian Colony in H-9, Essa Nagri in I-9, and Christian Colony in Iqbal Town.
