Turns out, Mother Earth truly is alive.

A video caught in the forest of Canada  in Nova Scotia has demonstrated the greenery concealed ground heaving up and down as like it is breathing.

The video captured  by Brian Nuttall, who was strolling on a breezy day in the Canadian group of Apple River when he saw the unusual sight, CBC News reported.

He hauled out his cellphone to record the forest floor, which resembled a breathing chest rising and falling like clockwork.

The video has been viewed more than 3 million times since it was posted on the web.

The wonder has subsequent to been clarified - the tree root framework under the ground has confined, which permits it to move as the wind blows through the woodland.

"As I entered a patch of trees spared from clear cutting, I noticed the ground moving," Nuttall wrote of his strange experience on Facebook.

"I trust the bigger trees are destined to blow down yet are right now saved, the littler trees around them hold one another up, as the wind pushes the trees into each other.

"The rebuffing winning winds have taken their toll as an afterthought slope, the roots have extricated and the overgrown ground from the once shaded forest floor are giving way, soon to be toppled over.
